My Favourite Eco-Luxe, Cruelty-Free Beauty Brands by Liv Lundelius

The lovely Toni Heague, our resident cruelty-free beauty expert, is unfortunately moving on. We therefore want to take this opportunity to thank Toni for her valuable contributions to Consume with Care and wish her all the best for the future.

Toni has kindly introduced us to her very talented friend Liv Lundelius, who will be blogging about all things cruelty-free beauty going forward. Liv is a professional make-up artist, as well as life-long animal lover, who only uses cruelty-free beauty products in her kit. You can find out more about Liv by visiting her blog Liv Lundelius Blog, which is packed with beauty tips and cruelty-free product recommendations, and her website

In her first post for Consume with Care Liv shares with us her favourite cruelty-free beauty products. Welcome aboard Liv!

Here are my absolute personal favourite eco-luxe, cruelty-free beauty brands, which I also use in my pro-makeup kit on models and clients right now. These are brands from all over the world, using only the very best ingredients and cutting edge formulations. I love them all! The list below is in no particular order.

1. Jane Iredale

Jane Iredale is known to be “The Skincare Makeup” as all her makeup products are actually good for your skin. Jane Iredale did mineral makeup before it was cool and still today provides the highest quality and purity in her products. While the range is not always 100% natural or certified organic, it is still a green brand, being certified cruelty-free and choosing toxin free ingredients. Almost the whole range is amazing. My current favourites are the Jelly Jar Eyeliners and the Glow Time BB Creme.

2. Vapour Organic Beauty via I Am Natural Store

Performance and purity – this makeup line got it right! Award winning products that are good for you. Delivering professional results and exuding ultimate luxury.

3. La Mav Skincare

Truly beautiful textures and products that are luxurious, effective, certified toxin free and organic. This line makes it easy to convert to all healthy cosmetics. My favourites are their pure organic oils and the Green Clay Detox Mask.

4. ZKIN Skincare

A certified organic Australian skin care range that has products for all skin types. It’s especially great for sensitive skin and it really works. Z’kin is one of these rare finds where every product is a winner while still being affordable.

5. Gressa

Revolutionary, let me repeat: Revolutionary luxury products! Made in the USA the Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation is a dream for the skin and so is the stunning range of skin care products. The Purifying Oil, which is a personal favourite of mine, soothes even oily and acne prone skin.

6. ILIA via Mecca

My favourite Lipstick brand hands down! The pigments are so rich and the colours are trendy. High-end packaging and packed with certified organic ingredients, they are a staple in my pro-kit AND my own handbag.

7. 100% Pure

100% Pure makes delicious smelling body lotions, a famous bestselling Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream, which fights dark circles and puffiness, and a great toxin free mascara. All pigments are 100% natural directly derived from fruits and vegetables.

Inika is an Australian organic makeup brand embodying luxury and performance. I love their liquid foundation, which provides the perfect lightweight sheer and dewy finish.

9. RMS Beauty

A select range is available via Mecca Cosmetica or the full range via RMS USA website

Makeup as pure and clean as it gets. All RMS makeup products are based on organic coconut oil, leaving the skin dewy and healthy. I am known for my dewy makeup looks and their Living Luminizer is a must have in my professional makeup kit!

10. Tata Harper

Last but certainly not least, if you haven’t heard of Tata already you have to check out her high-end performance products ASAP. A favourite of international beauty editors from Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire … you name it! It seems like her products are everybody’s darling. I am a fan of her eye cream and the resurfacing mask.
