This month we’d like to bring your attention to the wonderful work done by 2nd Chance Cat Rescue, an organisation run solely by volunteers in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It was founded in 2011 and is dedicated to the re-homing of abandoned, stray and feral kittens and cats in need of a loving home. So far they have re-homed over 700 cats and kittens.
If you’re able to help out by making a donation or becoming a foster carer, please visit their website. 2nd Chance Cat Rescue will be holding an Adoption Day on the 28th May in Lynbrook. For more details head over to their Facebook Page.
Among the many cats and kittens they have available are the adorable brother and sister duo Angelus and Darla. Here are there profiles:
Angelus is a cheeky but adorable little boy! Petite for his age, he is quite adventurous and playful, but also loves to snuggle on your lap when he wants a nap. He just loves the company of his sister Darla, also up for adoption, and they love to play and cuddle together in equal measure. Darla is a little cuddle bug! Also petite for her age, she loves human company day or night, but still likes to play. They were found abandoned in a park and have been hand-raised from a very young age. Both of them are great with people and other cats, especially younger cats. Not sure about dogs, but if introduced correctly, they should be.
Because Angelus is so close with Darla, we would ideally like to see them get adopted together. If you have room in your home and heart for these little sweeties, please fill out an online application form.
