As conscious, kind beings trying to do the right thing we all know to buy free range eggs but unfortunately many of the prepared foods we buy are still using eggs produced by hens kept in cages. That is why we were thrilled to come across this truly amazing pasta that only uses free range eggs in all of their products.
What is it?
The Per Tutti fresh pasta range (made by Alligator Brand) includes several different varieties of ravioli, including black truffle, pumpkin and parmesan and spinach and ricotta, as well as fresh lasagna sheets, linguini and gnocchi.
All products in the Per Tutti range are made with free range eggs and are free from preservatives, artificial colours and flavours.
The Alligator Brand has received an RSPCA Good Egg Award, which recognizes companies that are showing leadership by sourcing or switching to cage-free eggs. By sourcing eggs in a responsible manner, the Awards highlight the opportunity for organisations to make a positive impact on laying hens in Australia.
How does it taste?
My kids trialled the spinach and ricotta ravioli and the gnocchi and gobbled up every last mouthful. A huge thumbs up from them! The hubby and I had the black truffle ravioli, which was outstanding. If you’re looking for a meal that’s incredibly easy to prepare yet is made with top quality ingredients, you’ve got to try this pasta.
Where to buy it?
You can buy the Per Tutti range of pastas at David Jones, Thomas Dux, About Life, Leo’s stores, selected IGA’s, Foodworks and delicatessens.
